Road Closure & Works Notice
Posted on January 06, 2023
Road works happening over the coming weeks in the Dairy Plains and Montana areas
We have some substantial road works happening over the coming weeks. Please take care when driving in these areas and allow for extra travel time as we complete the following road projects:
Montana Road - Bridge Replacement
Due to the replacement of the bridge over Western Creek, Montana Road will be closed to all vehicles from 11 January until 31 January 2023.
Northbound traffic can access an alternative route via Long Ridge Road and southbound traffic can access an alternative route via Mole Creek and Dairy Plains Roads.

Dairy Plains Road - Surface Reconstruction
Road surface reconstruction work will start from the week beginning 16 January and will take approximately two weeks. The road will remain open, however please allow additional travel time as there will be minor delays.
Parks & Wildlife Service Tasmania - Additional Road Closures & Alerts
A reminder that a number of access roads and recreational sites managed by Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania remain closed due to flood damage. Please check the updated alerts before you travel: https://bit.ly/3vFc5Qj
We appreciate the patience of all our residents whilst we complete these works.
