Notice of Amendment to the Meander Valley Interim Planning Scheme 2013

At the meeting held on 12 November 2019, Meander Valley Council initiated and certified a draft amendment to the Meander Valley Interim Planning Scheme 2013 to:

  • Insert Resource Processing as a discretionary use into the Urban Mixed Use Zone – 15.2 Use Table with a qualification ‘if for a distillery on CT43423/1’.

Pursuant to s.43A of the Land Use Planning & Approvals Act 1993, Council determined a permit for use and development for Resource Processing (distillery – inclusive of ancillary cellar door sales and cafe) on land at 67 Meander Valley Road, Westbury.

The draft amendment and draft permit documents are available for public inspection. Any person may make a representation during the exhibition period commencing Saturday 16 November 2019 and closing Monday 16 December 2019.
