Hard Waste Collection 2026
The annual hard waste collection service is an opportunity for residents to dispose of bulky items like whitegoods, furniture, old toys, computers, and more, right from your nature strip!
Registrations for Council's 2026 Hard Waste Collection service have now closed.
For residents that have registered, collections will commence from Thursday 26 February as follows:
- Thursday 26 February and Friday 27 February – Deloraine, Mole Creek, Chudleigh, Meander, Kimberley, Golden Valley, Exton, Birralee and surrounds
- Monday 2 March – Westbury
- Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 March – Hagley, Carrick, Hadspen, Prospect Vale, Blackstone Heights, Bracknell, Rosevale and surrounds
Please refer to the Hard Waste Collection Guidelines to ensure your Hard Waste is collected.

General conditions of collection
- Hard waste must not exceed a total volume of two cubic metres of hard waste items per property. This equates to approximately the space of an average dining table.
- Individual items must not exceed 1.9 metres in length.
- Individual items must not weigh more than 40 kg and must be able to be safely lifted by two people.
- Fridges and freezers must have their doors removed. Other whitegoods must have their doors and cupboards removed or securely taped closed.
- Items must be placed on the nature strip at the front of the property. Items will not be collected from inside the property, including behind fences or under porches.
