Major Project Grant

Meander Valley Council allocates funds to help not-for-profit community groups and community organisations to deliver projects that benefit the community. The Major Project Grant will provide financial assistance to one group to deliver one major project within Meander Valley during a financial year (July – June). The outcomes of the project will need to align with the Community Strategic Plan (2024-2023) and be consistent with the principles of Meander Valley Place Brand. This grant is intended to empower community by fostering networks, building skills, attracting volunteers, addressing local priorities and growing community’s strengths.

Three Year Event Grant

Meander Valley Council allocates funds to help not-for-profit community groups and community organisations to deliver projects that benefit the community. The Three Year Event Grant will provide financial assistance over three years to a community group to deliver an annual event within Meander Valley. The outcomes of the event will need to align with the Community Strategic Plan (2024-2034) and be consistent with the principles of Meander Valley’s Place Brand. This grant is intended to enable new events to emerge, establish and develop sustainably within our region.

Community Grant

Meander Valley Council allocates funds every quarter to help not-for-profit community groups and community organisations in the delivery of a project or activity that will benefit the community. The project benefits will need to align with the Community Strategic Plan (2024-2023) and be consistent with the Meander Valley Place Brand.

Applications for the Community Grant for 2025 - Round 2 - due 10 September.

Individual Sponsorship

Meander Valley Council provides sponsorship to support residents with State or National representation. The applicant must be a resident of the Meander Valley Local Government Area and can be representative in a range of fields such as sport, community service, art, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and or natural and cultural heritage activities.

Organisation Sponsorship

Meander Valley Council provides sponsorship to organisations, groups, sports clubs and service organisations that operate in the Meander Valley Local Government Area and encourage community wellbeing through participation and volunteering.
