North West Transmission Upgrades Project - Public Exhibition

Tasmanian Networks Pty Ltd proposes use and development incorporating: 366 new transmission towers; approximately 162km of new 220kV overhead transmission line within an easement varying in width between 50m to 120m; one new switching station; modifications to existing 110kV line and 22kV distribution lines; upgrades to the existing substations at Palmerston, Sheffield and Burnie; tracks to access towers from existing roadways; and temporary construction areas.
