A new Heavy Vehicle Driver Rest Area is being constructed on the Bass Highway between Exton and Hagley, starting Wednesday 17 September 2025, finishing up by 4 March 2026.
A new Heavy Vehicle Driver Rest Area is being constructed on the Bass Highway between Exton and Hagley, starting Wednesday 17 September 2025, finishing up by 4 March 2026.
This means there will be lane closures and a reduced speed limit from 7am to 6pm on weekdays, occasionally extending into the weekend if required.
Please drive carefully, follow traffic signs and controllers, and observe speed limits, even outside working hours.
