Road Closure – Meander Valley Road, Exton

What: Meander Valley Council would like to advise the community of upcoming roadworks on Meander Valley Road (A2025), Exton, to allow for the construction of new stormwater box culverts.

When: 6:00 am Thursday 4 June to 6:00 pm Saturday 13 June 2026

Where: Meander Valley Road, approximately 150 metres east of Station Lane, near 6482 Meander Valley Road, Exton (see map below 👇)

Traffic impacts:
- Full road closure will be in place for the duration of works
- No through access during closure times
- Local access arrangements will be communicated directly with affected properties

Who is impacted:
These works may affect local residents, schools and school bus services, emergency services, public transport operators, freight and agricultural operators, and general road users. Alternative travel arrangements should be planned.

Council is currently working with relevant services to develop alternate school bus pick-up and drop-off arrangements during the closure. Exton residents will receive a letter from Council next week with more information about the upcoming works.

Why the works are happening:
The project involves installing reinforced concrete stormwater culverts to improve drainage and long‑term road safety.
