Meander Valley to host free community health and wellbeing expo
Posted on May 30, 2023
Live your best life! Come along to the Meander Valley Health & Wellbeing Expo!
A free health and wellbeing expo will be held next month to provide valuable advice and wellness tips to residents of the Meander Valley municipality.
Meander Valley Mayor, Wayne Johnston said this not-to-be-missed event will bring exhibitors together showcasing the community's wide range of health and wellbeing services.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to explore ways to keep fit, connect with others and engage with a range of preventative health care providers,” Mayor Johnston said.
The event will feature exhibitor stands, key speakers and demonstrations, ensuring the day is filled with valuable insights and practical takeaways.
"It aims to provide residents with a comprehensive overview of the services available to them, empowering them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing," Mayor Johnston said.
The community will also have the opportunity for one-on-one contact with service providers, ensuring personalised attention and guidance.
The expo will be held on Wednesday, 14th June 2023, from 10am to 4pm at the Deloraine Community Complex on Alveston Drive, Deloraine.
The Meander Valley Health & Wellbeing Expo is being funded by the Healthy Tasmania Fund, through the Tasmanian Government.
