Important Road Works - Midland Highway in Prospect

Resurfacing and line marking night works
Where: Midland Highway in Prospect, on the southbound off-ramp from Midland Highway, connecting to Bass Highway. 
When: Tuesday, 17 February, until Thursday, 19 February 2026, Time: 6:30 pm and 6:00 am.
 

Road Closure
Where: Midland Highway in Prospect, southbound off ramp from Midland Highway, connecting to Bass Highway will also be closed during the night. 
When: Tuesday, 17 February to Wednesday, 18 February 2026, weather permitting.
Time: 6:30 pm and 6:00 am from 
 

While the southbound off ramp to Bass Highway is temporarily closed, road users will need to continue south along the Midland Highway, exit via the Meadows Link off ramp, and re-enter the Midland Highway northbound via the on ramp.
 

Please allow up to 15 minutes extra travel time, keep to speed limits and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
