ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION: Carrick and Hagley Infrastructure Improvements

The Meander Valley Council is carrying out important roadworks in Hagley and Carrick to improve safety and road conditions in the month of November.

Project Scope: Reconstruction work will take place on Westwood Road, focusing on the S-bend corners near Quamby Golf Club.

Road Closure: Westwood Road, from Meander Valley Road to Black Lane.
Local Access: Local property access will remain available.
Detours: Through traffic will be diverted via Black Lane and Selbourne Road.
Start Date: Tuesday, 5 November
Estimated Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Working Hours: 7 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Project Scope: A culvert upgrade is planned to improve drainage and road safety near 95 Bishopsbourne Road.

Road Closure: Section of Bishopsbourne Road near 95 Bishopsbourne Road.
Local Access: Resident access will remain open.
Detours: Through traffic will be redirected via Percy Street and Charlies Lane.
Start Date: Wednesday, 7 November
End Date: Friday, 9 November
Working Hours: 7:30 am – 4 pm daily
