Weekly Update - Recreational Water Quality - Friday 7 March 2025

Egmont Reserve, Hadspen Lions Park and Blackstone Park are currently considered suitable for swimming.
Bracknell River Reserve is currently considered unsuitable for swimming.


Water quality testing results received by Council this week (ending Friday 7 March 2025) indicate the following:

  • Egmont Reserve (Birralee Road, Westbury) - This site is currently considered suitable for swimming.
  • Bracknell River Reserve (Louisa Street, Bracknell) - Bacteria (enterococci) levels are above Guideline limits. Swimming is not currently recommended at this site. Recreational water users enter the water at their own risk.
  • Hadspen Lions Park (Main Street, Hadspen) - This site is currently considered suitable for swimming.
  • Blackstone Park (Blackstone Park Drive, Blackstone Heights) - This site is currently considered suitable for swimming.

Water quality at all sites will be tested again next week.
