Weekly Update - Recreational Water Quality - Friday 24 January 2025

Egmont Reserve and Blackstone Park are currently considered suitable for swimming.
Bracknell River Reserve and Hadspen Lions Park are currently considered unsuitable for swimming.


Water quality testing results received by Council this week (ending Friday 24 January 2025) indicate the following:

  • Egmont Reserve (Birralee Road, Westbury) - This site is currently considered suitable for swimming.
  • Bracknell River Reserve (Louisa Street, Bracknell) - Bacteria (enterococci) levels are above Guideline limits. Swimming is not currently recommended at this site. Recreational water users enter the water at their own risk.
  • Hadspen Lions Park (Main Street, Hadspen) - Bacteria (enterococci) levels are above Guideline limits. Swimming is not currently recommended at this site. Recreational water users enter the water at their own risk.
  • Blackstone Park (Blackstone Park Drive, Blackstone Heights) - This site is currently considered suitable for swimming.

Water quality at all sites will be tested again next week.
