Hard Waste Collection 2026
The annual hard waste collection service is an opportunity for residents to dispose of bulky items like white goods, furniture, old toys, computers, and more, right from your nature strip!
Registrations for the 2026 hard waste collection will open at 8:30am on Monday 2 February 2026 and will close at 5:00pm on Friday 20 February 2026.
The collection schedule and guidelines will be available from early 2026.
General conditions of collection
- Hard waste must not exceed a total volume of two cubic metres of hard waste items per property. This equates to approximately the space of an average dining table.
- Individual items must not exceed 1.9 metres in length.
- Individual items must not weigh more than 40 kg and must be able to be safely lifted by two people.
- Fridges and freezers must have their doors removed. Other whitegoods must have their doors and cupboards removed or securely taped closed.
