Here in Meander Valley, creativity runs deep. To celebrate our local photographers and photogenic landscapes, we invite you to submit photos you've taken in Meander Valley. Each month, we'll select one photo and share it on Council’s website and Facebook page.
December Council Resolutions
- Approved planning application for subdivisions at 47 Huntsman Road, Meander
- Approved planning application for a subdivision at 193 & 251 Marriot Street, Westbury
- Approval of the submission on the Draft Land Use Planning and Approvals Amendment (Development Assessment Panels) Bill 2025
- Approved the continuation of Policy No. 88: Related Party Disclosures
- Approved a project to achieve additional area for administration and governance arrangements
- Approved the 2026 Council Meeting schedule
- Approved the nomination of Councillors to Council Committees and External Organisations
- Approved the appointments to Special Committees of Council
- Held our Annual General Meeting where the 2024-25 Annual Report was presented

Australia Day Volunteer Awards & Community Celebration
January 22 - Westbury Village Green
In the lead up to Australia Day, join us in welcoming Meander Valley’s newest citizens and honour volunteers who go above and beyond, quietly making a difference through their dedication, kindness, and service to our community.
Celebrations will include a Citizenship Ceremony, Volunteer Awards presentation, live music, and a free BBQ. All are welcome!
