Hard Waste Collection
The annual Hard Waste Collection is an opportunity for residents to dispose of items that cannot be deposited in kerbside bins.
Residents must register to receive the Hard Waste Collection service
Registrations for the 2019 Hard Waste Collection opened on 1 October and will close on 6 November 2019.
You are required to list the items you intend to place out for collection. Some restrictions apply:
• Items must not weigh more than 40kg each
• Items must not exceed 1.5m in length
• Total volume of items must not exceed 3 cubic metres (roughly the space of an average dining table)
• All items with doors must have their doors removed and placed neatly beside - including fridges, freezers, cupboards and washing machines.
There are some items that cannot be collected and some items that will need some preparation prior to being collected. Before registering, read the Hard Waste Collection Guidelines
Registered items must be placed out by 6am on your collection day or no earlier than the day before.
