Avoid, Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
It's important that we all find ways to reuse and reduce waste. Better still, avoid generating waste altogether.
Most separated and sorted recyclables can be disposed of free of charge at one of Council's three waste disposal facilities. Sorted recyclables must be deposited loose, not in bags. For a list of items that can be disposed of for free see Waste Disposal Facilities
What goes where?
Recycle Coach is a quick and easy tool to help you sort your waste from your recyclables. Visit Recycle Coach and simply enter your location and you can use the "What Goes Where?" search function.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic tip shops are closed until further notice.
The Deloraine Waste Facility operates a Tip Shop that accepts household goods, toys, books, kitchenware, furniture and bric-a-brac suitable for reuse (subject to operator approval).
Garage Sale Trail
