Every person who owns a dog over the age of 6 months is required to have their dog registered in the municipality in which the dog lives.

To register a dog for the first time you will need to fill in an application form and attend either the Council Offices, 26 Lyall Street, Westbury or at Service Tasmania. You can access an online copy of the application form above.

If you are re-registering a dog then you can pay this provided you have your registration notice as you need the account reference number on the top right hand side of the notice. Please click here to pay.
