Part-time Youth Worker

The position is responsible for the running of a weekly social recreation program for 12-16 year olds based at the Westbury Sports Centre. It is envisaged that this program will operate one evening per week.
This is a good opportunity to establish yourself within a large community organisation and to further develop your community youth work skills. Ongoing training and support available.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Plan, advertise and deliver a weekly social recreation program to engage 12-16 year olds;

• Promote youth participation and leadership initiatives;

• Support and direct the roles of volunteer helpers

• Provide information on other events and services related services, eg schools, youth organisations and support agencies.
