Refuse Disposal Sites
Meander Valley Council operates the following refuse disposal sites and waste transfer stations:

10am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday |

Westbury Refuse Disposal Site Cluan Road, Westbury (03 6393 2132) |
10am to 5pm Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday |

Mole Creek Waste Transfer Station Mersey Hill Road |
1pm to 4pm, Wednesday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday |

Meander Waste Transfer Station East Meander Road, Meander |
8.30am to 10.30am Tuesday and 2pm to 4pm Saturday |
*None of the sites are open on New Years Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
Tip Fees
The following tip fees apply from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012 at the Deloraine and Westbury tip sites and Mole Creek transfer station.

Cars & Trailers
. Car/Wagon - $6.00
. Ute/Single Axle Trailer (up to 1m3) - covered / uncovered - $11.00 / $16.00
. Tandem Axle Trailer/Small Truck (1-3m3) - covered / uncovered - $20.00 / $25.00
. Recyclers (min 20%) clean green waste - half price
DOMESTIC & TRADE WASTE
. Loose per m3 - covered / uncovered - $30.00
. Compacter per m3 - by appointment only
. Motor Vehicle - Other
- Car & Light Truck tyres - each $10.00
- Truck tyres - each $35.00
- Motor vehicle bodies - each $20.00

Disposal fees apply at all sites and recycled material is also accepted. Material which is not accepted at the disposal sites includes hazardous and toxic waste, chemical waste, liquid waste and tyres. Properly rinsed empty chemical drums are accepted through the DrumMuster program at the two Refuse Disposal sites.
