Meander Valley Council operates a number of sports and recreation facilities throughout its municipality. Refer to the attached pdf "Sporting Facilities - Information Sheet" for details on the facility, its location, and the sport(s) catered for each facility. Deloraine and Westbury Sport and Recreation Rationalisation Study
At the March 2012 Council meeting, it was agreed to receive the final report from Tredwell Management Services regarding their review of sport and recreation infrastructure in the Deloraine and Westbury areas.
Community members and interested stakeholders are encouraged to review this report and provide any feedback (either written or verbal) to Clinton O'Keefe. Contact details are provided in the bottom left hand corner of the homepage.
Council officers will collate all feedback from the public and present it at a future Council workshop for consideration.
It should be noted that none of the recommendations listed in this report have been agreed upon or accepted by Council at this time. Further financial and community analysis will be undertaken before the recommendations in the report are debated and any future action(s) implemented.
